MODX: How to Update the CleanTalk Anti-Spam MOD
Automatic update of the Anti-Spam plugin
1. Go to your website manager panel. Find "Extras" section in the upper menu, choose "Installer".
2. Find the Anti-Spam by CleanTalk plugin and click the button "Check For Updates"
3. Click the button "Update"
Manual update of the Anti-Spam plugin
1. Go to your website manager panel. Find "Extras" section in the upper menu, choose "Installer".
2. Press "Uninstall" button on "antispambycleantalk" package.
3. Choose "Uninstall" radio button and press "Uninstall". Press "OK" at the finish.
4. Press "Remove" to delete package.
5. Enable checkbox "Force Package Removal" and press "Remove package". Press "OK" at the finish.
6. Download the archive.
7. Copy downloaded file to "/core/packages".
8. Go to your website manager panel. Find "Extras" section in the upper menu, choose "Installer".
9. Choose "Search Locally for Packages" from the drop-down list
and click "Yes".
10. Click "Install" antispambycleantalk.

11. Go to Configuration section –> "System Settings".
Fill with "cleantalk" in filter field and press Enter. Copy and paste the access key from your CleanTalk Dashboard to antispambycleantalk.api_key and check plugin status (must be "Yes").
You can add exclusions for URLs if you need it (antispambycleantalk.exclusions_url option). For example, to exclude URL www.example.com/category/ajax.php you should enter category/ajax.php.
