Joomla 2.x: How to Update the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Plugin Manually

- Go to Joomla Administrator Panel —> Extensions —> Manage —> Manage.
- Find the plugin "Anti-Spam by CleanTalk", tick it, and press the button "Uninstall". Confirm the uninstall in the appeared warning.
- Download the plugin archive from CleanTalk (the link is at the beginning of this page or use the link given to you personally).
- Go to Extensions —> Manage —> Install.
- Go to the tab "Upload Package File", choose the downloaded archive, and press "Upload & Install".
- After the installation, go to Extensions —> Plugins, find and click on the "Anti-Spam by CleanTalk" name (or tick it and press the button "Edit").
- Switch the status to "Enabled" and set up the plugin. Make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard. Then press the button "Save".
- (Optional) Test the protection by making a registration using the blacklisted e-mail stop_email@example.com.
Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is updated!

7. Switch the status to "Enabled" and set up the plugin. Make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard. Then press the button "Save".
